Below is 口 (mouth) with a tongue rising from it and one bar added on top. Most scholars read that bar as a pointing mark that turns 舌 (tongue) into 言, the words that come out of the mouth; others take the upper part for the mouthpiece of a pipe. The first account is the usual one, so the picture is graded 'probable'.
